In 2015 Esri Colombia released a new Website called Esri Datos Abiertos aiming to gather and optimize the open information in Colombia and free Big Data, through Maps that are developed in ArcGIS, Esri’s platform.

Our target in this project consists in setting a visual identity in order to give a structured personality, creating strategic monthly campaigns able to spread and promote the open information through social media, and to be able to create consciousness about the importance of this type of data for everything, encouraging it’s use.
